Iron forward Kyle Wootton has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month for February following his spectacular effort against Accrington Stanley last month.
The former United academy player notched his second of the season in the encounter to break the deadlock, controlling a knockdown from George Thomas before crashing a half-volley into the net with the outside of his right boot.
He faces competition from Barnsley’s Alex Mowatt for his effort against the Iron, and Oxford United’s Jordan Graham, who struck against Blackpool.
